Australia & New Zealand Awards: Winners to be announced at CDC New Zealand

The winners of the inaugural Australia & New Zealand Cloud & Data Center Awards will be announced on Thursday 31st October 2024 at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Auckland.

The Awards have focused on achievement, thought leadership and innovation in this region over the past 12 months. Winners will be announced for each of the 4 Award categories:

Categories

Data Centre Project of the Year
Data Centre Innovation of the Year
Sustainability Initiative of the Year
The Individual Achievement Award

This category will reward best practices in data centre planning, build and facility extension across A+NZ over the past 12 months.

The projects entered here may include data centre build, extension, consolidation, refit/upgrade/refresh projects, Edge roll-out as well as strategies to move your data footprint between various in-house or external infrastructure options. Where you enter a project which was started over 12 months ago please ensure you focus on the work since June 2023 i.e. over the past 12 months.
 
To be eligible, your project needs to be located in Australia or New Zealand.

This category is open to all forms of innovation related to data centre and cloud, including technologies, solutions, systems, processes, management or operational initiatives. Where you enter an innovation or technology which was started over 12 months ago please ensure you focus on what it has achieved since June 2023 i.e. over the past 12 months.

To be eligible, the innovation needs to have been developed and deployed in Australia and/or New Zealand. 

This category is open to all forms of sustainability initiative related to data centre and cloud, including projects, technologies and solutions, operational processes, management, HR or strategic initiatives.

Where you enter an initiative which was started over 12 months ago please ensure you focus on the work since June 2023 i.e. the past 12 months.

To be eligible, the sustainability initiatives you describe need to have been deployed in Australia or New Zealand. 

Data centres are only as good as the people who design, build, operate and plan them. Who has stood out over the past 12 months in terms of leading the industry forward through the labyrinth of current challenges and opportunities?

The person you are nominating must be currently working in the data centre, cloud or associated sectors in Australia and/or New Zealand.
