Event Brief

Malaysia has emerged as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing data center markets, driven by strong cloud adoption, hyperscale demand, and continued government support. Key locations such as Johor, Klang Valley, and Cyberjaya are seeing increased investment, supported by improving power capacity, connectivity, and regional accessibility.

At the same time, the rise of AI workloads, data sovereignty requirements, and sustainability expectations is reshaping how data centers are designed, built, and operated. Balancing rapid expansion with long-term resilience, energy efficiency, and regulatory alignment remains a key priority for the industry.

Against this backdrop, the Malaysia Cloud and Datacenter Convention 2026 brings together hyperscalers, colocation operators, cloud providers, enterprises, investors, and government stakeholders to discuss the future of Malaysia’s digital infrastructure. Through a full day of keynotes, panel discussions, and fireside chats, the event will address critical topics including hyperscale growth, AI readiness, cloud adoption, power and sustainability, and investment trends which provides a platform for collaboration and practical industry insights.
