Perth Focus 2025: Developing the Hub

Our Perth Focus event in September 2025 will look at how Perth can translate its considerable potential into infrastructure, data traffic and revenue, and build on its status both as a hub for markets to its east, north and north-west and as a city which has evolved tech-based industries and services in its own right.

The growth of technology and its importance to the State’s economy has led to a number of Government initiatives and investments in this area - an AI Plan, the allocation of $1.3 billion on digital transformation through the Digital Capability Fund, the release of Digital Industries Acceleration Strategy, the upgrade of Government IT as well as the establishment of a team and a plan to deliver cyber security. These initiatives are being introduced as AI and digital technologies are reshaping industries across the State, from healthcare to the State Lottery, from education to resources.

Our event will therefore focus on how these transitions are impacting the requirements for data centre, cloud and connectivity systems to deliver them both at the Core and at ‘the Edge’. We will present thought-leading, industry-recognised speakers and panellists to look at these and other key points of discussion. The convention will deliver insights, learning and opinions through keynote presentations and expert panels together with networking opportunities and the chance to speak with experts.
